This is my cat Maelstrom.... Some may remember that he ran away last year and was gone for 9 days. Not such a big deal for some cats, but for this indoor, declawed cat who is clueless about the big wide world to wander off for 9 days and not get eaten by dogs, wolves, bears, hungry Crested Butteans... Well, that's quite a feat. And to come back just as fat? Hmmm, someone sucked up to a local, didn't they?

His name, which means "a violent or turbulent situation" is quite apt. He'll lay down, snuggle against me begging to be petted and loved and will tear off across the room for some unknown cat reason two seconds later. Keeps things interesting, that's for sure!
